Meet Santa Claus at Walt Disney World

Meet Santa Claus at Walt Disney World

Santa’s Chalet at the Downtown Disney Marketplace is now open. Visiting hours are from noon to 10 p.m. through Dec. 24. Once Santa takes off for his long night of travel, Santa Goofy takes over at the chalet. Goofy will greet guests from 3 to 10 p.m. Dec. 25 to Jan. 1.

Santa’s daily appearances at The American Adventure at Epcot begin Nov. 25 and continue through Dec. 24. Each country in the World Showcase also features storytellers who describe local holiday traditions. In many countries, the storyteller is a representation of Santa, such as Pere Noel in France and Father Christmas in England.

At the Magic Kingdom, Santa is also greeting guests during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, in addition to his appearances in Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade. Remaining party dates are tonight, Nov. 27, 29, 30 and Dec. 2, 4, 6, 7, 9,11,13,14,16 and 18. (Dec. 18 is sold out.)

If he’s not called back to the North Pole, Santa likely will be in the Magic Kingdom after the last Christmas party and in most hotel lobbies between 5 and 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve. (At Fort Wilderness, he can be found on the porch at Crockett’s Tavern.)
