Latest look at the new Disney Vacation Club tower construction at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. What a wet day here at the Walt Disney World Resort. That makes for less than stellar images from around the resorts, but while riding the monorail we were able to get some from Disney’s newest resort construction.
A new Disney Vacation Club tower is being constructed between the existing Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, it replaced the Spirit of Aloha show building. Imagineers working on this project were inspired by the early concepts for Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Honoring the past while furthering the resort story with this addition.
Opening in 2024, the new tower will offer amazing views of both Seven Seas Lagoon and Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Let us check out some of the images from yesterday.

As you can see the groundwork has been almost completed, we have seen them lay underground piping and conduit for wires. Disney crews have also relocated a few huge trees off the property in hopes of replanting some of the older ones back at the resort when construction is completed.
