Earlier this week, Mohammed Diab, director of the MCU Disney+ Moon Knight series, and actor Oscar Isaac, who plays Moon Knight, appeared in a TikTok video to tease that the second season is in the works.
In a recent video posted to Mohamed Diab’s TikTok account, his niece can be seen asking if there will be a second season of the show. Diab appears in frame, mentioning Moon Knight, before Oscar Isaac pops into frame, asking “Why else would we be in Cairo?” as the trio sails across a body of water.

The final episode of this year’s Moon Knight series ended with a tease that more adventures may be in store for the hero. Even though rumors of a second season were dismissed, the new social media video seems to indicate an official announcement will be coming soon.
We are quite eager to see if it will be announced at this September’s D23 event in Anaheim!
The Disney+ series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.
