Disney’s ‘Disenchanted’ is reportedly Filming Reshoots Next Month

The highly anticipated sequel to Disney’s Enchanted is scheduled for a Fall 2022 release on Disney+. However, some are questioning if there might be a delay since the ”Disenchanted” movie sequel will reportedly undergo reshoots next month in New York City.

According to a new DisInsider report, these reshoots are for additional principal photography, in response to the film receiving mixed reactions from early test screenings. With that in mind, it’s unclear at this point if the film will still debut in the fall of this year, or get pushed back.

Reshoots are common in the film industry and help filmmakers develop a better final product. So, it’s still progress in getting the movie closer to completion.

Disenchanted will see the return of Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Idina Menzel, and James Marsden.

The main villain will be played by Maya Rudolph. Also, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jayma Mays, Oscar Nunez, Kolton Stewart, James Monroe Iglehart, and Gabriella Baldachino join the cast.
