The Disneyland Resort is getting closer to pre-pandemic employee levels. The resort began its phased reopening last April and has been slowly bringing back more cast members. Now, the resort has 30,000 cast members and a job fair happening today.

95% of Disneyland’s pre-pandemic workforce has returned to work and more are returning every day. Disneyland President Ken Potrock shared with the OC Register that they aren’t done hiring.
“We are hiring every week,” Potrock said. “We’re not done yet. We’re aggressively looking for more and more people.”
Before the pandemic Disneyland employed 32,000 cast members. Due to the pandemic, more than 11,500 employees were laid off with thousands more furloughed.

The job fair today is taking place at the Disneyland Hotel and is offering full-time and part-time positions in the food and beverage, hotel and security divisions. There are also hiring bonuses available for some positions.
