Disney World 50th Anniversary Welcome Mats appearing at the Grand Floridian. Going to admit something weird here, but you will understand as fellow Disney fans. I take pictures of all the mats from each resort I visit. So when something looks different, I notice immediately. This was the case walking into the Grand Floridian today on our way to dinner and Happily Ever After Fireworks.
The Grand Floridian Resort has laid out the welcoming mat. The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Mat that is. The new mats sit outside the entrance, they are blue mats. With the gold trimming and Cinderella Castle silhouette with the 50 inside. Gold Walt Disney World is written out below the Castle. These look awesome! I hope the rest of the resorts get these for the next 18 months.

You can see above the new mats are on the outside welcoming guests. Inside the doorway are still the original Grand Floridian mats.
