We are down to the final week before Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration officially begins and I couldn’t be more ready! And I’m not the only one. We have steadily watched an increase in decor and merchandise streaming into the parks. The latest fantastically eye-catching display is at Magic Kingdom’s Emporium!

That royal blue that has become characteristic of many 50th Anniversary items has now festooned the large windows of Magic Kingdom’s largest merchandise location. Framed images of iconic Cinderella Castle and our favorite characters feature prominently in the display. Chip, Donald, Pluto, Daisy, and Cinderella riding the carousel are all exhibited.

Merchandise is also made visible to guests. Items like Minnie Ear Headbands, sweatshirts, bags, hats, character plushes, and T-shirts are all emblazoned with the 50th Anniversary logo to commemorate your timely visit. To add a little something fancy, the windows even have colorful images of Main Street, U.S.A. and Cinderella Castle along the bottom. Overall, the whole effect is celebratory and glamorous. The shimmering effect on some of the articles has been described as “EARidescent,” an appropriate portrayal of this Disney luster!
