Construction is now complete in Frontierland. Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary starts October 1st. With “The Worlds Most Magical Celebration” about to start, Disney is going all out cleaning up all the lands and adding fresh paint. Not only is everything fresh-looking, but they also added Disability ramps for those who need may need them.

Some of the updates and changes during the refurbishment of Frontierland were well needed. The Trading Post has had the giant tree and planters box removed. Added in the place of the tree, is a new handicap ramp and small boardwalk.

Country Bear Jamboree entrance had the whole boardwalk replaced, and 2 new handicap ramps were added. They are now located on the left and right of the entrance. The boardwalk all along Frontierland has been updated. Furthermore, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn got some fresh paint and a new ramp at the Frontierland side entrance. This is in addition to painting and touchups on all the buildings. The only thing we did not see get any love is Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade. Only Disney knows what’s going on there.

This Hootenanny is a Real Hoot

Step inside the rustic theater known as Grizzly Hall and take your seat before the lights dim. Clap along as 18 Audio-Animatronics hillbilly bears play and sing during this 16-minute, foot-stompin’ cele-bear-tion. You’ll hear a medley of original and classic tunes—all performed by the zaniest critters in the woods.

Rustle up some grub at this Old West saloon! Tell tall tales over chicken fajitas, southwestern salad, and the bacon cheeseburger—all before riding off into the sunset to the taste of sweet treats like mini churros with dipping chocolate.
