Artist Showcase with Larry Dotson
Inspired by fond memories of childhood trips to Disney Parks, Larry’s stunning oil paintings capture delightful Disney scenes and impress you with their magic.

Larry will appear at The Art of Disney in Disney Springs from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on the following dates in 2021:
- September 8 to 12
- September 22 to 26
About the Artist
Esteemed artist Larry Dotson is best known for his oil paintings of coastal scenes, sunsets and golf courses. From 1983 to 1995, Larry showcased his works in his own galleries in Lahaina, Maui. Since Hawai’i is considered the art capital of the Pacific, these exhibits enabled him to reach clients worldwide.
Larry and his wife Patti currently live in Orlando, Florida. He continues to market his works throughout the Hawaiian Islands, in Florida and nationwide.

About the Artist
Oil painter Rob Kaz draws on his background in animation and video games to tell stories on canvas using expressive light and color. With each painting, Rob’s goal is to evoke emotion, inspire smiles and leave the viewer longing to relive that moment again and again.
Whether it’s a fond memory of time spent at Magic Kingdom in the rain, a childhood recollection of Tinker Bell that longs for revival or the sheer and simple happiness we have all come to know by being Disney fans, Rob captures the essence of those experiences, inspired by the passion he feels from being a Disney fan himself.

Artist Showcase with William Silvers
Meet Artist William Silvers, who’s famous for his memorable background art in classic Disney animated movies. He’ll be offering a special assortment of his beautiful fine art.

- September 16 to September 19
About the Artist
William Silvers is an artist with twenty-five years of commercial success. An Ohio native, he was inspired by his father who was also an artist. He attended Bowling Green University where he received a BFA in Graphic Design at age twenty-one. Fresh out of college with a little advertising experience under his belt, William co-founded Live Wire Studios, a full service art studio, in Cleveland, Ohio.
In 1995, his film career began at Walt Disney Feature Animation where he adapted his fine art painting skills to the world of filmmaking. For almost 10 years he created unforgettable backgrounds for Disney animated classics such as Mulan, Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch, and Brother Bear. William has also created new and exciting fine art pieces for several Disney galleries and Lucasfilm Ltd. His relationship with the Walt Disney Company continues to be a consistent theme in his career. “What began as a foray into film making blossomed into a comprehensive career, the foundation for which was Disney Animation.”
