I don’t know about you, but I haven’t had enough cookies from Gideon’s Bakehouse yet. It doesn’t matter that they’re half a pound each. They’re delicious, they keep well in the freezer, and there’s a new flavor every month to keep me coming back for more! This month’s flavor is Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl! Wow!

You can’t leave Disney Springs without a little treat for the hotel room (or the car ride home if you’re like me!) and lately, it seems that Gideon’s is the leader in portable snacks. At $6 each, these cookies aren’t cheap, but they’re so big that you can share or take your leftovers with you. Chances are they won’t last long with this new flavor though! Talk about a peanut butter cup in cookie form.

This cookie has a peanut butter cookie dough base, mixed with chocolate cookie dough, with chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and candied peanuts baked into the top. It’s super-rich, and like all of Gideon’s cookies, moist and dense. If you love peanut butter, upgrade this cookie with a little tub of peanut butter frosting available for purchase at the counter. It’s a great cookie dip!

This flavor will only last through March, so be sure to grab yours before the month is over. In April we will get a whole new cookie to try! So stop by Gideon’s Bakehouse on your next trip to Disney Springs and ask for the Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl cookie!
