โ€œThere is some rapping in it and I really canโ€™t take much credit for the rap aspect of it. Yeah, thereโ€™s some rapping in it, thereโ€™s some veryย Menkenย songs, thereโ€™s some veryย Mirandaย songs. But itโ€™s all the blend ofย Menkenโ€“Miranda, Menken shared.

He continued, โ€œI love him, I love working with him. Iโ€™m glad we had the opportunity to do that and heโ€™s also a producer on the movie butย Lin juggles a lot of things, as I do, so we will have occasional contact. Right now itโ€™s in the hands of the amazing [director]ย Rob Marshallย and as we speak they are in London right now filming.โ€

Speaking on his time with Halle, Alan gushed over her talent and the chance to work with her, sharing, โ€œOh my gosh, she is adorable and so talented. I metย Halleย at the recording sessions,โ€ he said. โ€œI did have to be educated in terms of what she and her sister do together, which is incredible. She is an amazing talent, a beautiful girl, and I got to meet her family.โ€
