Noma Dumezweni Cast in Disney’s Live-Action ‘The Little Mermaid‘. Noma Dumezweni (The Undoing) has been cast in an undisclosed and new role for Disney’s The Little Mermaid live-action remake. Readers may know Noma best as Hermione in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child stage adaption in London.

Filming for The Little Mermaid is already underway at Pinewood Studios in London. The Cast for Disney’s Live-Action The Little Mermaid currently includes: Halle Bailey (Ariel), Jonah Hauer-King (Prince Eric), Melissa McCarthy (Ursula), Javier Bardem (King Triton), Jacob Tremblay (Flounder), Emily Coates (Unspecified, rumored: Vanessa), Daveed Diggs (Sebastian), Awkwafina (Scuttle) and Noma Dumezweni (unspecified). Disney has yet to announce a premiere date for the film.
