Chris Evans to Return as Captain America for the MCU

Chris Evans to Return as Captain America for the MCU. So, you thought Cap had passed on the shield and would swiftly enter retirement after the battle with Thanos. Not so fast Marvel Fans! According to Deadline, Chris Evans is in talks to reprise his role as Steve Rogers/Captain America for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Though he will reportedly not be taking on a leading role in these upcoming projects, if he returns we will get to see evans in supporting roles and likely in cameo appearances similar to Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Previously, Evans had shared he was done as The First Avenger, but likely he was not made aware of future plans for his character and is supportive enough of the idea to make the triumphant return to the MCU.
