New photos show some of the scrim removed from Magic Kingdom’s “It’s a Small World” to reveal a new look at the beloved attraction! Back in October, big screens appeared around the attraction to allow renovation works. From the temporary scrims it seems the makeover will be in keeping with the on going work happening in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, in preparation for the 50th Anniversary celebrations! Whilst much of the scrim remains around the outside of the attraction, new photos reveal the fresh new entrance for the attraction!
As you can see, the new entrance has been completely repainted, showing a a new pink, blue and gold front, in comparison to its old blue and white colour chart! It seems the new pink, blue and gold front are in keeping with the recent makeover of Cinderella’s Castle, right in the heart of the Magic Kingdom! As you can see, a temporary banner remains above the new entrance which will be replaced in due course!
Here at Chipandco, we adore this beloved attraction, as it celebrates peace all over the world accompanied by its famous theme tune created by the Sherman Brothers, (the same brothers who created the music for Mary Poppins). We look forward to seeing the finished makeover of the attraction and enjoy the sneak preview revealed by some of the scrim removed from the Magic Kingdom’s “It’s a Small World” attraction!
