‘The Mandalorian’ Star Fuels the #FireGinaCarano Flames with New Tweet. In case you didn’t know, The Mandalorian star Gina Carano has been in hot water with folks on the internet after sharing her personal views on masking up and other hot button issues these days with many calling for her firing from Star Wars The Mandalorian, but Carano has also seen plenty of support from friends and fans alike.
One of her more recent tweets is adding fuel to the flames and is being labeled as “anti-vax” and insensitive to the recent news that vaccines will be rolling out soon, with some rumors that they will become mandatory for U.S. citizens.
The tweet shared by Carano shares an image stating: “Sure I’ll take the vaccine just mail it to me. MY health and safety are too important to show up in person. Just like mail in voting you know, safe, secure, and honest. So just mail it to me and I’ll give myself the shot and send the paperwork back saying I’m vaccinated. You all trust me, right?”

In the entertainment industry it’s not uncommon for studios to issue “gag orders” or restrictions on topics, especially after controversial or hot topic statements are made by cast or crew members of films and television alike. Though there is no public knowledge of Lucasfilm or Disney restricting any of the cast or crew of The Mandalorian, the studios have not made any statements regarding the call to action from some fans and the cast has been rather quiet regarding the issue until Pascal’s “less is more” show of solidarity for Gina in a recent post to Instagram featuring Din Djarin and Cara Dune hugging and supporting one another.
Currently, The Mandalorianseries is said to already be approved for Season’s 3 and 4, with a high chance of even more seasons come, as well as several rumored spin-off series. One such spin-off is said to be led by Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and Bo-Katan Kryze (Katie Sackhoff) and a high potential for another spin-off live-action series featuring Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) who is rumored to appear in the second half of Season 2.
The Mandalorian season 2 will feature Din Djarin (Mando) and the Child continuing their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. “The Mandalorian” stars Pedro Pascal, with guest stars Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez. Showrunner Jon Favreau serves as executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist serving as co-executive producer.
