There’s no question that the entertainment options on Disney+ are endless. Sometimes it even seems that there are too many options! When it comes to finding the film or show that you’re looking for, or maybe when you’re looking for something new to you, it can be overwhelming to navigate so many choices. That’s why collections have become one of the best ways to look around. Some collections that already exist include: ”Happy Holidays, ” ”Mickey Mouse and Friends, ” and ”Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.” And now we can add ”Walt Disney Animation Studios” to that list!
The new collection has some of our classic and newer Disney favorites broken into smaller categories that make them easier to find! All of them are, you guessed it, from the Walt Disney Animation Studios. The categories and a few examples of the films they include are as follows:
- Shorts: Steamboat Willie, Three Little Pigs, Chef Donald, Lambert the Sheepish Lion.
- 1930s-1940s: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Three Caballeros, Fantasia, Bambi.
- 1950s-1970s: Cinderella, Peter Pan, Robin Hood, The Rescuers.
- 1980s-1990s: The Great Mouse Detective, The Little Mermaid, Lion King, Hercules.
- 2000s: The Emperor’s New Groove, Lilo and Stitch, Brother Bear, Bolt.
- 2010s-2020s: Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, Zootopia.
- Originals: Once Upon a Snowman, Zenimation, Into the Unknown Making of Frozen 2.
You can easily find the collection on the homepage of your Disney+ screen by scrolling down until you see ”collections.” Honestly, this is a fantastic way to make sure your kids aren’t just sticking to the modern classics and are seeing some of your childhood favorites too! We know what we’ll be browsing for the next few evenings!
