Exciting news for those craving White Castle! A new location is soon breaking ground near Disney World.
Construction on the new restaurant, which at 4,567 square feet will be among the company’s largest, is expected to begin in November 2020. The Orlando castle marks the iconic brand’s return to Florida; in the 1960s, it operated a castle in Miami.
The restaurant is expected to create over 100 jobs in the Central Florida area. The location will have both indoor and outdoor seating and two drive-thru lanes. This White Castle restaurant will open at the O-Town West near Palm Parkway and Daryl Carter Boulevard. The Orlando location should be ready to open up later in 2021.
Known for its tiny square-shaped hamburgers, the menu also includes a variety of sliders like sloppy joe sliders and chicken and waffle sliders. If you need a side to go with your main entree, you can choose from a variety of options like mac ‘n cheese nibblers, chicken rings, corn dog nibblers, and of course, french fries.
White Castle owns and operates more than 375 restaurants in 13 states.
Based in Columbus, Ohio, and known as America’s original fast-food restaurant, White Castle has more than 375 restaurants in 13 states. The Florida location will bring that number to 14. Like most of the chain’s other restaurants, the Orlando castle will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, satisfying the crave of White Castle fans morning, noon and night.
