Disney’s Grand Californian Resort Villas Opening in December

Disney Vacation Club Members will get to return to the Disneyland Resort soon! The DVC Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort and Spa will reopen on December 6, 2020.

The official Disney Vacation Club website shared the following:

“The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will once again welcome Members home beginning December 6. During this initial phase, the Disney Vacation Club Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will be open only for Members. The rest of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will remain closed. Upon reopening, restaurants, amenities and other offerings may be modified or unavailable, limited in capacity and subject to limited availability or closure.”

Keep in mind the theme parks at the Disneyland Resort are still closed and will most likely remain closed through the rest of the year. However, the Downtown Disney District is open to guests.

There is no news if the Grand Californian will be decorated for the holidays. We can be sure that there won’t be the usual gingerbread display as no Walt Disney World Resort hotels will display those this year either.

Again, the hotel will only be open to DVC members. If you are a member you’ll want to book your stay soon! I’m sure those rooms will go fast!
