Grand Floridan Orchestra reunite to play the Jolly Creek Holiday Festival

Grand Floridian Orchestra

Recently the band members of the Grand Floridan Orchestra were laid off at Walt Disney World. Disney fans were so upset Disney had to issue a statement on the dismissal of the Grand Floridian Orchestra.

As you may know, we are always evaluating and refining our offerings and creating new ideas to build upon Disney stories. This philosophy is in keeping with Walt Disney’s vision for continuing to grow and evolve, giving Guests a mixture of familiar and new experiences with each visit. In alignment with this philosophy, we have made the decision to end the limited-time run of the Disney Society Orchestra and Friends this fall with their last performance being on Saturday, October 3, 2020. We apologize for any disappointment that this may cause you and please be assured that we have shared all of your feedback with the appropriate Executive Leadership Teams.

The Grand Floridian Society Orchestra shared a photo with us from their last day at the Grand Floridian.

Well, today we have some great news… The band is getting back together!

The Grand Floridian Society Orchestra has reunited under a new name the Jolly Creek Society Orchestra and is performing at the Jolly Creek Holiday Festival in Kissimmee, FL!

Experience a Winter Wonderland with Live Music, a Festival Marketplace, Specialty Food & Beverage, Twinkling Lights, and SNOW!

Here is a tweet of their exciting news!

Fresh off their 32 year run at a “grand” hotel in Florida, we are so proud to have the Jolly Creek Society Orchestra join our event as the headliner.

Catch them every event night at Jolly Creek beginning November 20!

Welcome back, guys!
