Two Fan-Favorite Disneyland Resort Shows are officially closing due to layoffs.
Frozen Live at the Hyperion in Disney’s California Adventure and Mickey and the Magical Map in Disneyland will not be returning when the Disneyland Resort finally reopens.
Cast Members took to Instagram last night to share the sad news…
Frozen-Live At The Hyperion and Magical Map are officially closing. I will treasure the privilege I had of being among those to originate both Anna and Poca in the opening casts, and consider it an honor to see them through to the bittersweet end. To our fans, know that YOU are the reason we stayed alive for as long as we did. To my fellow cast and crew, I love you with all my heart. We will be back on stage…somewhere…someday. What a chapter to close. On to the next dream!
As of right now, Disneyland has not posted the official word on their website.
Disneyland has been going around and around with the Governor of California on reopening their Southern California theme park. Even their Chief Medical Officer released a statement on reopening Disneyland.
