Star Wars Coca-Cola Bottles made their appearance this past year with the grand opening of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. They essentially became an overnight sensation with their unique look and theme tying into all things Star wars including the Aurebesh labels on them. As soon as they became a hit they also took a hit with airports suddenly banning them from being transported on planes due to their easily mistakable appearance of a thermal detonator. Luckily that decision was overturned. With the park closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney fans one and all have been trying to bring Disney into their home one way or another.
A lucky Star Wars fan EscapedStitch happened across these infamous Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Coca-Cola Bottles at his local mom and pop grocery store. Tate’s Supermarket in Hartford, Alabama were lucky enough to get their hands on a shipment of these unique Disney Souvenirs Soda bottles. They are selling them in a 12-pack for $6.99! These bottles of pop sell for just about that for one in Disney! So this is quite a deal!

It appears they have an April 2020 expiration date, which maybe gives some explanation to their appearance in any location other than exclusively in Batuu in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in Florida, and California. These detonator pops will probably disappear just as quickly as they mysteriously showed up.
Anyone up for a little Star Wars mission to Alabama?! Let us know at Chip and Co if you have been able to get one yet, or have seen them anywhere else!
