Star Wars Stormtroopers Raises Spirits Amid Global Pandemic. Never thought I would see the day when Stormtroopers were the good guys! Apparently, some Stormtroopers have been furloughed by The Empire during the COVID-19 pandemic and have decided to humor travelers while out on a walk around the neighborhood.
Rob Johnson of Richardson, TX donned his stormtrooper uniform for a walk around the neighborhood with some encouraging signs that caught the attention of drivers passing by. Rob’s signs included various phrases such as “Good Guys Wear Masks”, “I Miss People”, “Move Alone. Move Alone.”, and “Have You Seen My Droid, TP4U?”
Johnson shared the photos and a short video of his walk and has since gone viral online.
Full disclosure, the “I miss people” poster made me actually laugh out loud when I read it.
Rob is a Stormtrooper at The Star Garrison of the 501st Legion. The 501st Legion is the famed Star Wars costuming group that helped to fill holes in the finale two episodes of The Mandalorian Season 1. They are a fantastic group of fans who are passionate about Star Wars and love to help their communities. It is nice to see folks helping to lift spirits during this uncertain time.
