Yet another movie is delayed… Black Widow was set to open in theaters on May 1st, but now the film is postponed.
Black Widow is the next movie installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It stars Scarlett Johansson as super-spy Avenger Natasha Romanoff in the Black Widow’s first solo adventure. The Black Widow movie follows her adventures after the events of the 2016 Captain America: Civil War timeline. Black Widow is forced to confront her KGB past and retrace her life before joining the Avengers. Her character will reunite with friends from her past and face the supervillain Taskmaster.
The upcoming James Bond movie No Time To Die was set to open in April, but it got pushed back until November 2020. Disney has delayed the release date for other films, too. Upcoming movies such as Mulan, The New Mutants, and Antlers are all delayed for theatrical releases. Even the production of Disney+ shows were delayed.
We don’t have a rescheduled date yet, but we will let our fans know of any updates for the upcoming Black Widow movie. After all, Scarlet Johansson’s comic book adventure is highly-anticipated among Marvel Comics fans. We’ll have to wait and see when Black Widow’s new release date is announced.
