Disney recently completed the construction of the tram drop-off area at the TTC. This area has been a construction zone for months. The construction work altered the path for guests who use their car to get to Magic Kingdom, but now the project is finally complete.
For months, the tram loop was shortened due to construction and guests had to walk on a slightly longer walkway to reach the TTC.
For those unfamiliar with the TTC acronym, it stands for Disney’s Transportion and Ticket Center. It’s where guests can go to use the monorail or ferry boats to ride to Magic Kingdom’s entrance. It’s also the port of entry for those who drive to Magic Kingdom. The tram service helps Disney guests who park in the Magic Kingdom parking lot.
The new drop-off area is near the security check in front of TTC. This location will shorten the walking process for guests both entering and exiting. It’ll also shave off the commute time for those who park.
Walt Disney World may be temporarily closing, but this new drop-off area is a permanent change. If you drive to Magic Kingdom next time or use the monorail system, then you’ll see the updated area in front of the TTC.
