Disneyland Paris closure has been extended due to Coronavirus. This week it was announced that for the second time in the park’s history, Disneyland Paris will close its gates on Saturday 14th March with the plan to reopen at the end of the month. During this time, Disneyland Paris hotels and Disney Village remained open. However, today it was announced that Disneyland Paris will remain closed until April 15th but due to the uncertainty around Coronavirus it is unsure if the parks will reopen on this date.
However, that is not all… today it was announced that from today Disneyland Paris closure has extended to the hotels and the Disney Village due to Coronavirus. From this statement, all guests with reservations will be able to postpone their stay through to October 15th 2020. Please note that Disneyland Paris officials are asking guests to call next week if your stay was planned imminently as the calls are interfering with critical emergency calls in the region. Alternatively, you can complete an electronic form online to request a callback!
This is the second time in 25 years that Disneyland Paris has closed its gates since opening in 1992. The first time was in November 14th-17th 2015, in observance of France’s national days of mourning following the tragic Paris attacks.
