An epic new quest has begun at McDonald’s! New Onward Happy Meal toys have arrived just in time for the new Pixar film. There are nine legendary toys to collect, plus there is even themed packaging for the milk, apple slices, and Gogurts!
Onward is an urban fantasy film set in a fantastical world, where the populace once had magic. Two teenage elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot, receive a wizard’s staff as a gift from their father, with a spell that will bring him back for only 24 hours! Of course things don’t go as planned, and that is when the adventure begins!
Each of the toys are inspired by different characters, or elements in the film. The toys also have their own movable mechanisms as well. Be sure to stop by McDonald’s over the next couple weeks if you’re looking to collect these fun new toys!
The Disney partnership with Happy Meal toys keeps continuing and we are loving it! So far we have seen toys from Star Wars, Lion King, Frozen, Toy Story, Avengers, and more! Other big upcoming family films this year include Mulan, Soul, Jungle Book, and Raya the Last Dragon, I wonder if we will see Happy Meal toys for any of them?
