Top 5 Titles to Add to Your Disney+ Watchlist. This week Disney launched their all new streaming service, Disney+, and fans are thrilled! A few bumps in the road didn’t stop what would ultimately become a successful launch for Disney+. Some fans were lucky enough to gain access to Disney+ earlier than others, some subscribers waited hours to join the service due to high traffic to the app. For now, it seems Disney has worked out many of the issues and now is the time to start stream.
We have been enjoying the nostalgic films and shows, but did you know Disney+ is currently featuring brand new, exclusive titles with the promise of even more to come? Oh, and did we mention they are worth the subscription by themselves? The team here and Chip and Co. has been thoroughly enjoying both the new and old content, but we wanted to share our top 5 favorite new titles, only found on Disney+. Don’t worry, we won’t spoil anything, but we highly suggest these 5 titles!
1.) The Mandalorian
“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. “The Mandalorian” is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.”

2.) Noelle
“In Disney+’s holiday comedy “Noelle,” Kris Kringle’s daughter is full of Christmas spirit and holiday fun, but wishes she could do something “important” like her beloved brother Nick, who will take over for their father this Christmas. When Nick is about to crumble like a gingerbread cookie from all the pressure, Noelle suggests he take a break and get away…but when he doesn’t return, Noelle must find her brother and bring him back in time to save Christmas. The sudden disappearance of the new Santa (Bill Hader) leads to chaos in the North Pole, so Mrs. Claus (Julie Hagerty) must step up to rein in the hi-tech replacement Santa, Cousin Gabe (Billy Eichner). Meanwhile, Noelle and Elf Polly (Shirley MacLaine), the family’s acerbic but good-hearted nanny, are down South on a search-and-recover mission, during which Noelle (Anna Kendrick) comes to realize she has much in common with her father and begins to understand the true meaning of Christmas.”

The Imagineering Story will showcase the development of state of the art technology by Disney and give us a glimpse of where the magic happens in the depths of the attractions at the Disney Parks around the world.”
If you love learning more about how Disney makes their magic, this is the special for you! The first of three parts is currently available for streaming and showcases the bumpy road to creating Disneyland. Have the tissues ready, this one is a real tear jerker!
5.) The World According to Jeff Goldblum
“Through the prism of Jeff Goldblum’s always inquisitive and highly entertaining mind, nothing is as it seems. In “The World According to Jeff Goldblum,” each episode is centered around something people all love — like sneakers or ice cream — as Jeff pulls the thread on these deceptively familiar objects and unravels a wonderful world of astonishing connections that are both surprising and exciting. Through fascinating science and history, amazing people, and a whole lot of big ideas and insights, Jeff Goldblum provides an interesting take on the world.”
Disney+ is the dedicated streaming home for movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more, together, for the first time. From The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer and International segment, Disney+ is available on any internet-connected screen and offers commercial-free programming with a variety of original feature-length films, documentaries, live-action and animated series and short-form content.
