The holidays are right around the corner for the Disneyland Resort. First, is the return of Halloween at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. During this season, guests can immerse themselves in unique experiences including decor and even attraction overlays. One of the popular overlays is that of the Ghost Galaxy overlay at Tommorowland’s Space Mountain.
We have recently learned that instead of the appropriately Halloween-themed, Ghost Galaxy, the current theme of Hyperspace Mountain will remain.
The Hyperspace Mountain overly started in May as a part of the Star Wars May 4th celebration. Later in the month, guests got to experience the new land of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The massive popularity of the land has encouraged the stay of the overlay.
The Halloween season at the Disneyland Resort starts on September 6th and continues through October 31st. Although Ghost Galaxy will not be making a return, you can enjoy another themed overlay across the park. The Haunted Mansion with continue their fall/winter run of Haunted Mansion Holiday. Jack Skellington and all his friends from Halloweentown will deck the halls of the mansion for an enjoyable and merry/scary attraction.
At Disney California Adventure, join Oogie Boogie for the all new Oogie Boogie Bash! Enjoy trick-or-treating around the park. Join in on a Descendants Dance Party. Then, finish the night with World of Color: Villainous!
What do you think about Hyperspace Mountain staying for the Halloween season? Let us know in the comments!
