Star War’s Galaxy’s Edge is set to open on May 31st at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim and on August 29th at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. You’ll walk right into Batuu which is the land that Star War’s Galaxy’s Edge is home to and where your adventure begins. Batuu is in the Black Spire Outpost and home to some very notorious characters. There you can enjoy themed food, shopping, and drinks (race you to the blue milk!).

On opening day fans can step inside the Millennium Falcon for the incredible new ride Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run. There will be no fastpasses available in the opening days. Galaxy’s Edge’s second ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will open later this year in both parks. Both rides are set to be as immersive as the land, with Rise of the Resistance being called, ” “one of the most advanced and immersive experiences ever undertaken by Walt Disney Imagineering”.
