Bus & Skyliner Terminal Construction Underway at Hollywood Studios! Construction has commenced on the Bus and Skyliner terminals at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We have been watching this progress over the last several months and you can now see some major progress. Once the project is complete, a system of gondolas will carry guests to nearby Disney Resort hotels. This will be just one of the many changes they have made to free up room on Disney buses throughout Walt Disney World. Plans also include service to a port at Epcot’s World Showcase, similar to the existing water taxi system. A completion date has not yet been set but if we had to guess, maybe by years end?
They are so close to done now. Look at this progress!
What are your thoughts? Do you think you can handle a slow ride from the resort to park in one of these? Disney has not announced an official completion date for this project but once it is open it will connect Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and the future DVC property, Disney’s Riveria Resort located next to Coronado Springs. The Disney Skyliner Gondola is expected to be up and running through by the middle of 2019.
