Hello ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! It’s your favorite Disney gossip queen, Anonymouse here to share some exciting news with you that I think you will all love! As reported many months ago by me the rumor mill is going again about Star Wars Land & Carsland coming to Disney World. My insider sources at Disney are telling me that Cars Land and Star Wars Land are coming to Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
As most of you know, Cars Land was added to Disney’s California Adventure park last year and now there are plans to bring the infamous Radiator Springs to Disney World next! Cars Land will most likely replace the Lights Motors Action show at the back of the park. This also happens to be conveniently located near the current Pixar Place.
However, Disney is not planning to stop here. They will also be adding Star Wars Land to Hollywood Studios. Star Wars Land will be built around the newly renovated Star Tours attraction. Although I’ve not heard what attractions will be replaced to make room for Star Wars Land, I’m hearing the Muppets theater and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids play area may be a top choice.
My friends are telling me that this will not be a quick project and will not be completed until 2018!

Definitely excited about Star Wars land, but wish they would keep the Muppets and maybe just change the show. I love the Muppets, it’s a tradition going to see the 3D, but Muppets and Honey i Shrunk the kids are outdated now…
I’m sooooooo excited about a Star Wars land! I wish they would just build an entire park dedicated to SW, there is soo much they could do!
Star Wars Land is my own childhood dream come true many years late – but better late than never! I just truly hope they don’t tear down Muppets in order to do it!
If it does take out Honey I Shrunk the Kids, I will definitely miss it. It was the perfect place to let kiddos decompress from all that is Disney and just play.
I like the idea of Star Wars Land. I’ve been hoping for something similar for years. Wish they’d leave Carsland just for Disneyland though. I like unique items at each park.
Love that Cars Land should be coming, and after seeing LMA a few times I really don’t need to see it again. I don’t care about a Star Wars Land either way, but I will be very upset if they take away Muppets!

It makes me kind of sad honestly. It’s nice to have something UNIQUE on this coast. Disney World has so much more than Disneyland, there’s kind of no reason to visit DL/CA, it’s all over at WDW bigger and better anyway. Now,w hen you say Star Wars Land is coming to DL, I’ll be excited. 😉
Cars Land & Star Wars Land would entice me to go back to DHS. It has always been my least favorite park. We skipped it when we went in March.

Please just tear that boring fake buildings on the way to Light Action Stunt Show…. and add it there. That area is so boring and useless… I am so excited and over the moon about the Star Wars and Cars Land…. yay!!
