Top 10 Best WDW Park Restaurants for Adults

Brown Derby

When it comes to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, it’s a food lover’s playground. And while burgers and fries are a theme park staple, there are tons of other types of foods to tempt to your taste buds. For adults who are looking for more than chicken nuggets and French fries, look no further. Disney has got you covered. From Moroccan flavors to Margaritas, there is so much to choose from, you might even forget to check out the theme park attractions!

Here are my top 10 recommendations for the best WDW Park Restaurants for adults. I’ve included casual fare and fine dining favorites. Interested in checking out the resort restaurants? Don’t forget to check out my list of the top 10 best resort restaurants for adults.

10. Yak & Yeti – Located in the Animal Kingdom Theme Park, this is one of the few places in the park to enjoy a non-character table service meal. Serving Asian inspired foods, it offers a nice mix of traditional and fusion style food. Check out the Kobe beef burger and the Shaoxing Steak and Shrimp. If you’re looking for a quieter meal, ask for a seat on the second floor. It’s a great place to recharge in the park. The decor in this restaurant provides a nice backdrop for a meal, as well.

9. Biergarten – Located in Epcot at the Germany pavilion in the World Showcase, Biergarten is a fabulous restaurant to bring a group of friends and family. Set to resemble Oktoberfest, you’ll be seated in large tables with other parties just like at the real Oktoberfest—it’s a great way to make some new friends! Enjoy a German beer flight with your meal; it’s the perfect accompaniment to schnitzel!

8. Rose & Crown Pub – Set in Epcot at the UK Pavilion, this is the quintessential pub experience. It’s a great place to hang out with friends in the pub section or to pick up a proper English dinner in the restaurant section. Grab a pint of your favorite British beer or cider (I recommend the Magners Pear Cider) or treat yourself to a scotch flight. And of course, the fish and chips at this restaurant are the real deal. Looking for a great view of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth? If you time your ADR right, you can get seated outside for an up close view.

7.  Tutto Italia – This Epcot favorite, located in the Italy pavilion, is a wonderful location for a romantic date or a special occasion. It serves fresh and authentic Italian dishes from homemade pastas and grilled meats. Don’t forget to save room for their decadent desserts. The tiramisu is spectacular. After your meal, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the pavilion. Now that’s amore!

6. Restaurant Marrakesh – Just a stone’s throw from the Italy pavilion is Restaurant Marrakesh, located in the Morocco pavilion. This is another great date night location or even one to spend with a group of friends. It features authentic Moroccan food, including couscous, kebabs, and hummus as well as terrific live entertainment. You’ll be treated to live Moroccan music and belly dancers. You might even get a chance to show of your dancing skills too! For libations, check out the non-alcoholic Moroccan mint tea or the Casablanca Sunset with apricot brandy.

5. 50’s Prime Time Cafe – Take a trip back in time to the 1950s and mom’s kitchen at 50’s Prime Time Cafe. Located at Hollywood Studios, this is a great location for adults to have some fun. Before your meal, grab a quick retro cocktail from the Tune-In Lounge. Grandma’s Picnic Punch is a doozie! Meals here are traditional comfort food from fried chicken and meatloaf to pot roast and pot pie. The fried chicken is my hands down favorite. And don’t forget to eat your veggies; your “cousins” (i.e. servers) will let you know you can’t have dessert if you don’t! And make sure no elbows on the table. Save room for the desserts because they are great. The brownie sundae and s’mores are big hits.

4. La Hacienda de San Angel – Another Epcot favorite, this restaurant is located in the Mexico pavilion and is sure to be a great get-together restaurant for adults. If you like margaritas and tequila, this is the place for you. The Orange Mango Fire margarita has a nice kick to it or check out the avocado margarita for something different. The food here is also really good too. The mixed grill platters are big enough to share with groups. Like the Rose & Crown, this location has some great outdoor seating that offers a premium view of IllumiNations if you time your ADR right. For post-meal drinks, head to La Cava del Tequila in the pavilion for snacks and signature drinks.

3. Be Our Guest Restaurant – Located in the Magic Kingdom, this is the newest restaurant to open on Disney property. As a quick service for lunch and a table service for dinner, this location serves up French inspired fare. ADRs for dinner are hard to get but worth it. The interior is a beautiful location for a romantic meal, especially if you are seated in the main ballroom. You’ll think you were in your own fairy tale. It is also the only location in the Magic Kingdom that serves alcohol and has a small but impressive wine list. For lunch, it offers fast casual fare, like tuna nicoise salad and croque monsieur.

2. Hollywood Brown Derby – Located at Hollywood Studios, this swanky location offers a view back to the 30’s and 40’s and Hollywood’s heyday. You can imagine what the real Brown Derby must have been like with celebrities like Bette Davis and Humphrey Bogart enjoying a drink or a meal there. The food here is upscale and unique. I highly recommend the famous Cobb Salad which can be ordered as an appetizer or an entree. The grapefruit cake is also a must for any first-time diner. It’s a Brown Derby classic! This is a great romantic restaurant and the perfect place for a special occasion in the parks.

1. Le Cellier – Nothing says romance like a dimly lit restaurant, and Le Cellier located in the Canada pavilion at Epcot is just that. Le Cellier is known for its steaks and wine; the Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon is known as their signature dish. Not a steak lover? You will find great options like snapper and free-range chicken. Share a side of the Poutine fries with cheddar, truffle salt, and red wine reduction or the lobster mac and cheese. To complete your decadent meal, why not try one of their sinful desserts like the trio of chocolate.

With so many restaurants to choose from, adult diners are sure to find something to suit their fancy. What are your favorite park restaurants for adults?

  1. I know character dining isn’t really an “adult” thing to do, but my friends and I (all in our 20’s) ate at Garden Grill and I don’t think i’ve ever laughed so much in my life…the characters are super playful! But I also agree that eating on the 2nd floor at yak and yeti next to the windows is pretty amazing too!
