Here, there, and everywhere! Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary banners have now appeared in every theme park! The last hold-out was Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But no more! With just over two weeks left until the celebration, Animal Kingdom is now bedecked with the same festive decor we’ve seen at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Disney Springs, and some resorts.

These classy banners are strung up on your way from the entrance to Discovery Island. The words “Walt Disney World” top the big “50” in the center, while the bottom portion proclaims this “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.” We can’t wait! While we don’t yet know what other decorations will be placed around Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we can say with confidence that Disney World throws an elaborate bash! They won’t disappoint us.

What I can tell you to anticipate is that some of the Fab 50 statues that you’ve already seen at the Magic Kingdom will be joined by a set of characters over at Animal Kingdom. Timon and Pumbaa, Simba, Nemo and Dory, as well as Bambi and Thumper will each be honored with a golden statue in the park. So be on the lookout!

The celebration begins on October 1st, but preparations are well underway! Will you be celebrating the half-century celebration of Walt Disney World by visiting Animal Kingdom? It’s sure to be unforgettable.
