Disney World Entrance sign receives 50th Anniversary medallions

The Disney World Entrance sign on World Drive has just received a 50th Anniversary update featuring new medallions. These decorative 50th-anniversary medallions match the ones installed on the Cinderella Castle a few months ago.

As you can see 50th Anniversary medallions have been added to both sides of the Disney World sign to complete the sign refurbishment that went on earlier this year.

So far we have only noticed the 50th Anniversary updates to the Disney World sign on World Drive but we expect to see them added to the other signs around Walt Disney World in the weeks ahead.
