Walt Disney World Resort Hotels Celebrate the Holidays

The holiday season is in full swing at the Walt Disney World Resort and that includes the resort hotels! The resorts have decked their halls with festive flourishes of garland, lighted wreaths, and epic Christmas trees.

Each hotel’s yuletide décor enhances the stories they tell. Traditional tunes and holiday melodies fill the air in the classic setting of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, as a talented pianist performs live music most afternoons and evenings in the lobby.

You can’t (and won’t want to) miss the massive Christmas tree at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Or head to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and gaze at the magnificent tree stretching into the upper reaches of the soaring lobby.

Whether you are staying at one of the resort hotels or just visiting, you’ll want to check out the sweet holiday treats available at each one! Holiday flavors of eggnog, peppermint, pumpkin, chocolate and more dance across the dessert menus at the resorts.

Try the triple-chocolate Happy Holidays Grand Cake Pop from Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Or grab a Christmas Candy Drop from Le Petit Café at Disney’s Riviera Resort, filled with milk chocolate mousse, chocolate sponge, hazelnut custard and cherry reduction.

You can’t go wrong with plant-based macarons available at The Artist’s Palette inside Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.

While there aren’t lifesize gingerbread displays at the resorts this year, that doesn’t mean you won’t see any gingerbread! You can get Cookie Trees featuring stacks of vanilla cookies decorated with royal icing, mini-pearls and snow sugar, along with a delightful miniature Gingerbread Carousel with hidden Mickeys and a sugar replica of this year’s gingerbread pin from Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort.
