The Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios park. The whole resort has joined in on the celebration and is now serving delicious treats in honor of this monumental event.
First, at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort, try the Dark Side Dessert. This red velvet cake has a cream cheese swirl and is covered in chocolate ganache. This cake sits on top of a sugar cookie and is topped with a chocolate Kylo Ren piece. You can find this dessert at the Beach Club Marketplace and the Market at Ale & Compass.
From August 29 through September 12, stop by Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs and try their Chewbacca Cake. This is a full size dome cake and comes with four different flavor options.
While at Disney Springs, visit the Ganachery for this next treat. Try their Millennium Falcon Chocolate Pop that’s made from milk chocolate. Then, head on over to ride in the Millennium Falcon on the Smugglers Run attraction.
Guests visiting Hollywood Studios have plenty of treat options outside of Galaxy’s Edge as well. At Epic Eats, try the Galactic Funnel Cake. This funnel cake is topped with strawberries, cookies and cream crumbles, and candy rocks.
Try a refreshing Resistance Shake at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. This shake is made with Pineapple and Orange Dole Whip swirl. The shake is served in a sugar-rimmed glass and then topped with a Rebel Alliance chocolate piece.
Try all these treats and more starting on August 29th and don’t miss the opening of Star War: Galaxy’s Edge!
