Walls up around Spaceship Earth as construction continues on Moana’s Journey of Water. I swear Disney likes to mess with us. Soon as we do an article about walls coming down at Spaceship Earth at Epcot, the next moment they have put up new walls on the opposite side of SSE.
Yesterday we showed you images of the new gardens and lighting around the exit of SSE on the Connections Cafe side of the ride. Today we can tell you they have moved the walls to the other side closer to the Seas. The area is probably getting the same work done, along with walkway work, and the old pylons that held up the tent structure that was a seminal structure behind SSE for years are being removed.

The Story Behind the Spaceship
It’s the flagship attraction of Epcot and the signature symbol of the park. To create the experience inside the iconic geosphere, Disney Imagineers assembled some of the world’s greatest talents.
The all-star roster includes Academy Award® winner Judi Dench as the narrator and Emmy® winner Bruce Broughton, who conducted a 63-piece orchestra and 24-voice choir for his musical score. If you listen closely, you’ll notice that the music for each scene features styles and instruments appropriate to the era, transitioning seamlessly into the next—no small feat.
