We recently had the pleasure of checking out Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind in Epcot. From the stunning outside to the amazing queue elements we love this ride from start to finish. I especially love how Disney has tied this attraction into Epcot, which between you and me, I was a bit worried about how Disney would accomplish this.

If you are anything like me you are a visual person. You can tell me all day long how amazing of an attraction Cosmic Rewind is but the proof is in the puddin’.
Before we write up a long post talking about all the details I wanted to do a video tour of this all-new ride in Epcot. Hopefully, you can take a look at the inside and outside of this new Marvel attraction and be blown away like I was while attending the media preview this past weekend.

Let’s start off with the queue:
I was lucky to view the queue with one of the Disney World Imagineers who came up with this attraction. I would have liked to check out the full video show before you get to the Welcome area so if you are in line you should be able to view the whole thing. We were rushed through so you will only see a couple of minutes of the video show which felt like a morning show.
Before I jump into the ride itself, Disney shared with us this professional B-Roll footage:
I will say this if you are prone to motion sickness you might feel a little loopy like I did. I rode the attraction twice while at the media event and felt pretty loopy after the 2nd ride, when you go backward that is what did it for me. However, when I was out at the AP Preview yesterday I took Dramamine and felt fine after riding it.
Greg was able to shoot this ride video for us, warning it will contain spoilers. The attraction features 6 different music tracks that MAKE the ride. Tears for Fears was my favorite.
On a side note if you would like to see the Treasures of Xandar Store I shared a live look on our Facebook page:
Speaking of Facebook Live I also went live from the media preview and answered questions about the attraction. Many of the inside elements were off for interviews so you will have an opportunity to see the inside with the lights on.
Finally, Greg and I were able to share a Disney Parks Review Video Show about Cosmic Rewind. It is worth the watch…
You can listen to Podcast Version here.
I honestly believe this is one of Disney’s Best Rides at Walt Disney World! If you are a fan of coasters or Guardians of the Galaxy you are gonna love this ride. Like Mission Breakout in Disney’s California Adventure, the music makes this attraction.
Stay tuned to our official review sometime this week.
