Automated Camera & New Mickey 50th Anniversary Backdrop comes to the Magic Kingdom. We had an amazing time at the Magic Kingdom, while we were there we decided to check out the Mickey over at Town Square Theater. We were surprised and happy to see a brand new backdrop for the 50-Anniversary celebration, along with the automatic camera having been turned back on.
A trick about the automatic camera is gonna save you from losing your favorite pictures. Once you have finished meeting Mickey, there is a stand as you leave to scan your card or magic band and link the images to your account. You have to be quick or it moves on to the next family. I would hope Disney fixes this issue, so you don’t end up with a disappointed kid.

Go Behind the Curtain
Mickey Mouse is in his rehearsal room, ready to meet his biggest fans. Discover props and posters from Mickey’s magical career in the theater and maybe even spot a disappearing dove or a rabbit coming out of a hat. The greatest magic of all happens when Mickey Mouse strikes a pose for a fun photo with you.
Mickey will appear behind a rope to allow for physical distancing. Though it may be different than before, this experience is sure to delight.
