The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has a new vehicle on patrol at Disney Springs. Deputies can be seen getting around the entertainment district on none other than…a golf cart! And it’s not just ANY golf cart. This one has flashing lights and a siren!

Sgt. John Montenegro shared some cool information about the golf cart. The cart is street legal and they gas it up at local gas stations. He also shared that the cart is typically used to escort military veterans who need assistance or dignitaries who visit the property.

The golf cart is mainly used in Disney Springs and the parking lot areas. It’s not meant for anything else. If you think the deputies have fun racing that sweet looking golf cart, think again! It only goes up to 15 mph.
Sgt. Montenegro also shared that kids really love seeing the deputies out on the golf carts while visiting Disney Springs.
It is a pretty cool attraction that doesn’t cost a thing!
