The coronavirus pandemic has certainly impacted our daily lives. The Orlando theme parks have been temporarily closed for over one month now. We don’t know what health and safety measures will be implemented in the future at theme parks. But a leaked Orlando Studios survey seems to suggest a few possibilities.
The survey indicates Universal Studios wants to implement multiple strategies involving social distancing throughout its theme parks. Ultimately, the survey questions lean towards asking what new measures it will take for guests to feel safe visiting the theme parks after this pandemic. The leaked questions ask how guests would feel about wearing masks and the presence of park employees who wear masks. Other parts of the survey ask about temperature checks and if guests would feel comfortable being checked prior to entering. This is a safety measure that’s being debated over at Disney Parks.
Another question is if guests will feel comfortable using the 3-D glasses at some Universal attractions. The theme parks might explore the option of virtual queues and check-ins to reduce crowds entering attractions and dining establishments.
Nothing has been confirmed yet regarding future health and safety measures. We will provide updates when details are announced in the future.
