In a post on social media, Universal shared this news to guests thinking about heading to the parks today.
Today, December 29th at 8:52 am, Universal Studios Florida & Islands of Adventure have reached capacity. We anticipate reopening later this afternoon. For updates, please call our capacity hotline: 407-817-8317
This is the earliest we have seen Universal Orlando hit capacity this holiday season.

Here is a breakdown of when they hit capacity the past couple days:
- December 28th – 10:15am
- December 27th – 11:36am
Which makes you wonder if they are going to be even earlier tomorrow.
