Tutto Italia Ristorante Evening of Authentic Italian Cuisine in Epcot. I have to say learning more about Tutto Italia yesterday was a delightful experience, with great service, and even better food, in a beautiful setting. With prices that compete with the other restaurants around the World Showcase in Epcot. We found that for the price and amount of food and atmosphere and service, Tutto Italia may be our favorite spot.
Located in the Italy pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase, Tutto Italia is a Patina Restaurant Group eatery. Owned and Operated by Delaware North that runs all the eateries in the Italy pavilion, along with Space 220, and many other restaurants in Disney Springs.
Remodeled a few years ago, the interior is beautiful. With frescos, paintings, and blown glass around the seating area.
We were treated to a full menu experience, which included drinks, appetizers, and full presentations and taste testing of main courses. Including dessert from La Gelateria Toscana.
I will preface this by saying, if you have read my other dining reviews, you will know I don’t use fancy words to describe the food. It is an account of your average customer who enjoys food. Mr. Average is how I would describe my food palette.
Tagliere – Serves two people. Board of Prosciutto di Parma, Salametto, Asiago, Gorgonzola, Fontina, Artichoke Hearts, Grissini and Cerignola Olive $39.99
Calamari Fritti – served with Marinara Piccante $29.99
Tortino DI Melanzane – Baked eggplant parmegiana, pomodoro, mozzarella, parmesan – $29.99
Paired with Frizzante drink, along with Italicus Spritz.
The main courses we tried were as follows.
Salmone – Pan-seared filet of salmon, green asparagus, herb sauce $34.00 This could be the best-cooked salmon I have tried, while it remains flakey, the outside has an amazing crust with the herb rub. The asparagus was a great mouthful that did not have that asparagus earthly flavor, the sauce it sits in really brings out a great flavor.
Gnocchi Sorrentina – Potato dumplings, roasted tomatoes, Pomodoro sauce, burrata cheese $29.99. Fluffy, and a wonderful mouthfeel. The sauce did not overpower the flavor of the gnocchi, it added a bright flavor. I found this dish to be very filling, without sitting very heavy.
Manzo Brasato – Braised beef chuck short rib, Portobello mushroom ravioli, red wine sauce $42.00 The meat itself falls apart so nice which is nice, but the stand out to this dish is the ravioli. The mushroom flavor mixed with the beef is so well blended. We had this paired with a Chianti Classico Riserva Lodolaio Sangiovese. Whoever pairs the wines with the meal wins the day with this dish!
So it comes down to whether would we recommend you spend your money here. Would we eat here again? Is Tutto Italia worth sitting down for as a family or a date? The answer to all of these questions is yes. We found a dish that the whole family would enjoy, for those kids who are picky eaters, the spaghetti and meatballs are fantastic.
We have enjoyed meals all around the Walt Disney World Resorts, including almost all of Disney Springs and inside the Parks. Tutto Italia holds its own against the top-rated restaurants around the Resort. In fact, having a South West Philly Italian wife, I will be taking her in a few weeks to enjoy the food.
I will have to say, if you are deciding where to eat while having a day at EPCOT, Tutto Italia is the place you want to enjoy for dinner. I would recommend this over any other spot. This seems like a hidden gem that we love and want to spread the news to everyone we know.
As of now, Tutto Italia is open from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Monday -Thursday. If you get the chance, make a reservation.
If I did a star or rating system, Tutto Italia would get top makes for Atmosphere, Presentation, Wine selection, Quality, and Taste of Food. Plus the vibe was so fantastic we spent a few minutes after dinner just relaxing with limoncello and sat and talked for an hour. I can’t give it top dessert marks, that goes to sister service La Gelateria Toscana located right outside.
