If there’s a snack that is undeniably at the top of the Walt Disney World “must-have” list it’s the Dole Whip. It’s the perfect treat for a hot Florida day. The great news for Dole Whip fans is that in recent years, Disney has expanded the types they serve and the locations they can be found. The classic place remains Disney’s Polynesian Resort. But no matter where you get yours, be sure to try the new flavors available. In this case, that flavor is the irresistible mango.
When at the Polynesian, never leave before visiting the Pineapple Lanai. That is the place you’ll find Dole Whips. Traditionally that means pineapple, of course, but you can always swirl it with vanilla, or make it into a pineapple juice float, or an adult version with rum! Other flavors that have been available here in recent memory are lime (which is still current), lemon-lime, raspberry, orange, and cherry among more. Mango is one to get excited over!
We’ve previously seen the mango flavor of Dole Whip in the “Adventure is Out There” cone from Auntie Gravity’s in the Magic Kingdom. That deliciously adorable treat featured a white chocolate cluster of balloons. It melted fast though! That may be why, aside from the fact that the cone was great for Instagram, a cup of mango Dole Whip is the perfect choice for an afternoon snack.
If you’re a fan of Dole Whips or a fan of mangoes, this is the treat for you! Dole Whips are iconic, refreshing, and more flavorful than sorbet (even though all ice creams are wonderful). Make a plan to head out to the Polynesian Resort at Walt Disney World to grab one soon!
