Take Flight with Toothless at Islands of Adventure’s New Photo Op!
Even if you’re not soaring over Berk at Epic Universe just yet, you can still get a taste of dragon-riding glory at Islands of Adventure! A brand-new Toothless photo op has landed in The Lost Continent—and it’s a must-visit for any How to Train Your Dragon fan making their way through the park.

Located just across from the Heraldry shop, this area was once a quiet seating spot. Now? It’s been transformed into a picture-perfect scene straight out of the skies of Berk. The centerpiece is a life-size, hyper-detailed figure of Toothless, the beloved Night Fury himself. Though he doesn’t move or breathe fire (sadly), his striking pose and realistic features more than make up for it.
Guests are invited to stand behind Toothless, giving the illusion that you’re saddling up for an epic mid-air ride. The scene is surrounded by stylized 3D cloud elements and a vivid backdrop showing other dragons soaring through the sky—making it look like you’re leading the whole flight crew straight into adventure.
