Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover refurbishment extended AGAIN…

PeopleMover

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover in Magic Kingdom has not reopened since the parks reopened this summer. The attraction has been closed for refurbishment and that closure just got extended.

Guests won’t be able to enjoy a trip around Tomorrowland until at least January 30th.

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover gives guests a 10-minute tour of Tomorrowland. It’s a great ride for guests to cool off on.

During the narrated tour, go behind the scenes of attractions like Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Space Mountain, and Star Traders retail shop. See architectural models of Progress City, the prototype for Epcot.

Right now the My Disney Experience app shows the refurbishment will last through January 30, 2021.

This is the fourth time the reopening date for the PeopleMover has been changed. Permits have been filed and structural support work has continued on the attraction. Hopefully, this will be the final date change and guests will get to enjoy the attraction again before the new year.
