Tom Sawyer Island was evacuated yesterday due to a suspicious person

Yesterday Tom Sawyer Island was evacuated in the Magic Kingdom due to a suspicious person allegedly dressed in camouflage and holding a hatchet.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office was called for a suspicious person report at Caribbean Way in Magic Kingdom at approximately 5:48 p.m.

Multiple people online state that the person was dressed in camo and was walking around with a hatchet and singing county bear jamboree songs. Some reports online say it was a prop from Tom Sawyers Island…

All we know officially is that Sheriff’s Office was called and guests were evacuated from Tom Sawyer Island in the Magic Kingdom.
