Actor Tom Holland recently took to Instagram to reach out out his friend and fellow Spider-Man co-star.  Tom called out to Jacob Batalon, who plays Ned Leeds, to say how much he missed talking to him. The two may play best friends in the MCU, but they’re real friends, too. Being able to form strong friendships while playing superhero is a great life for Tom. Many MCU fans are looking forward to seeing the duo return in the next chapter of Spidey’s life.

The next Spider-Man sequel for Tom Holland is currently slated to hit movie theaters November 5, 2021. Unless there’s a film delay, it’s expected to keep its release date. In the meantime, he’ll be busy filming his Uncharted film before returning as the heroic wall-crawler. “Finish Uncharted, finish Spider-Man in February next year,” Holland said in a video posted to his father’s Patreon account. “Two press tours, maybe together, which should take six weeks’ worth of work.” That’s the life of the young actor at this point, who recently teased beginning filming with actor Mark Wahlberg.

Until next year, we’ll have to wait to see what future holds for Peter Parker and Ned Leeds when the two actors return to film the third Spider-Man installment.
