First Look at Once Upon a Time: Shadow of the Queen Novel

Once Upon a Time: Shadow of the Queen will be the first official graphic fiction tied to the hit series. The novel will take fans deep into the world of Fairy Tale Land, where  the fabled storybook characters are real and the forces of good and evil are locked in an epic struggle!

Th novel’s plot was created by series writer & producer Daniel T. Thomsen and co-written by Corinna Bechko. This landmark release also fits into the continuity of Once Upon a Time and features artwork by Nimit Malavia, Vasilis Lolos, Mike Del Mundo, Mike Henderson and Michael Kaluta.

In Once Upon a Time: Shadow of the Queen, the Evil Queen has captured the Huntsman’s heart forcing him to become her slave.  This novel will explain the never-before-told tale behind their twisted relationship — and what happens when a good man is forced to do bad.  When Regina cooks up yet another plan to capture Snow White — this time by working with a pack of power-hungry werewolves — the Huntsman must come face-to-face with his past — and an independent spirit in Red Riding Hood that just may match his own.

Once Upon a Time: Shadow of the Queen will be available on September 4th in book stores, comic shops, the Marvel Comics app, and online in the Marvel Digital Comics Shop. You can also catch ABC’s hit series Once Upon a Time on Sundays at 8:00 pm EST.
