Tickets Now On Presale for ‘The New Mutants’ and New Details Revealed! ‘The New Mutants’ Will Premiere in Theaters and IMAX This Month. After months of delays, the new horror/thriller from Marvel and 20th Century Studios, The New Mutants, is set to premiere in cinemas and IMAX theaters on August 28th. The New Mutants stars Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) as Rahne Sinclair, Anya Taylor-Joy (Glass) as Illyana Rasputin/Magik, Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) as Sam Guthrie, Blu Hunt (Another Life) as Danielle Moonstar, and Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why) as Sunspot.
The New Mutants is directed by Josh Boone is based off the Demon Bear Saga from The New Mutants Marvel Comics from the 80’s and follows the story of five young mutants, just discovering their abilities while held in a secret facility against their will. Once they realize the are trapped in the facility they must fight to escape their past sins and save themselves. Recently, we attended a press event with Director Josh Boone and the cast of The New Mutants and discussed various aspects of the film including: the inspiration for the script, the chilling and haunting aspects of the filming location, and what audience will enjoy the most about the final Marvel based superhero film from 20th Century Studios. Boone even shared that he would LOVE to make a fan art book because he is so impressed with the incredible artwork coming out of the film, even before its release!
